Returning household registration guide

Welcome back! We hope that you find our online registration process pain free as possible.

This guide will help you access the online registration, walk you through the process, and answer some common questions.

How to access the registration

  1. Navigate to LCSD#2 Infinite Campus Portal
    • We do not recommend using a mobile phone for registration. It is best done on a computer or tablet.
    • Ensure pop-ups are allowed in your browser.
  2. Login to Infinite Campus
    • Enter your Infinite Campus username and password.
    • If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password” to reset it.
    • If the reset does not work or you need an account set up, please contact your child’s school secretary or email sydney.gardner@lcsd2.org for assistance.
  3. Access Online Registration
    • In the left-hand menu, scroll down and select: More > Online Registration
    • Click “Start” under the Existing Household Registration section for the school year you are wanting to register for.

The registration system is designed in an accordion-style format, meaning it will automatically guide you through each section. Here are the sections you will encounter in the registration:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Infinite Campus is our Student Information System (SIS), where we store and manage all student data. Through Infinite Campus, parents can:

  • View student grades and attendance
  • Pay lunch balances and fees
  • Receive important school updates
  • Manage student information
  • Manage contact preferences (email, text, phone calls)

Once your registration is approved, you will be eligible for a Parent Infinite Campus Account to access these features.

Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to reset your password. If you need further assistance, email sydney.gardner@lcsd2.org.

Please email sydney.gardner@lcsd2.org to obtain an Activation Key.

You can then follow the instructions HERE to create your account.

No. One registration covers all students in your household. You will have the opportunity to review and update information for each student, as well as add new students if needed.

Yes! The Student section of the registration will show all the current students in your household. At the bottom click the “Add New Student” button to enroll an additional child/student.

If any information changes during the school year, update it in your Campus Parent Account or contact your child’s school secretary.

You do not need to call each school if you have multiple student across different schools. When updated it will automatically update for everyone in your household.

Once you are entered into our system, the registration will not let you adjust major details such as name, birthdate, gender, and race/ethnicity.

If you notice any of the information is wrong please contact a school secretary.

If you are moving before the start of the school year, use your new address when completing registration. If applicable, select the school nearest to your new residence (e.g., if moving from Afton to Thayne, register for Thayne Elementary instead of Afton Elementary).

If your move date is uncertain, use your current address for registration and update it with the school secretary once your move is finalized.

Important Registration Reminder:
Submit only one registration for your household. If you need to register a new student, such as an incoming kindergartener, add them within the application by clicking “Add New Student” in the Student Section.

Do NOT complete a separate New Household Registration for your kindergartener if you already have returning students.

If you do not have access to a device to complete registration, please contact your school secretary for assistance. A device can be provided for you to use, but please reach out before arriving so we can ensure a device is prepped and ready.
